Another example of pretty folwer beds in the middle of a street. It is pleasant to drive past the signs, don't you think?

Yes, it would be nice to have flowers in the street like you have. We don't have things like that here but then this is a small (5000 people) city.
Thanks for your comment on the post about Monday is washing day. I think dryers are a big waste of energy too, but my wife can't hang clothes out anymore. We have 5 children and she used cloth diapers and you can imagine how many times she hung clothes on the clothes lines. Lots of times. LOL
Now the oldest is 52 years old and her son is 16. Our grandson. But now the cloth diaper days are gone forever I guess.
